Yasmin 0.03 mg / 3 mg film-coated tablets is a prescription-only combined oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. Each tablet contains two hormones: ethinylestradiol (0.03mg) and drospirenone (3mg).
Yasmin works mainly by:
- preventing ovulation (release of an egg),
- thickening cervical mucus, and
- changing the lining of the womb.
Pack size: 3 strips × 21 tablets (63 tablets).
Important: Yasmin does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
