Sebco Coconut Oil Compound Ointment 100g is a medicated ointment combining coal tar solution, salicylic acid and sulphur in a coconut oil base to soften and remove scalp scale, relieve itching and support management of dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema.
Sebco Coconut Oil Compound Ointment 100g is a General Sales List (GSL) medicated topical ointment used in the management of dry, scaly skin conditions of the scalp including dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema. Its formulation combines coal tar solution 12% w/w, salicylic acid 2% w/w and sulphur 4% w/w in a coconut oil base to help soften, break down and remove scale, reduce itching and provide mild antiseptic and keratolytic effects when used regularly.
Sebco is based on the traditional preparation Unguentum Cocois Co, a coconut oil–based tar ointment that has been used by dermatologists and clinicians in the UK for over 70 years.
