NovoPen® Echo Plus Red is a reusable smart insulin pen designed by Novo Nordisk to support precise, reliable insulin self-administration for people with diabetes who require injectable insulin therapy. This device uses 3 ml Penfill® cartridges of Novo Nordisk insulin and provides half-unit (0.5 unit) dosing increments, enabling tailored dosing for both basal and bolus insulin needs.
Unlike traditional reusable pens, the Echo Plus model includes dose memory functionality, recording the time, date and amount of insulin injected for up to several months of data. Using Near Field Communication (NFC) and compatible mobile apps, you can transfer this dosing history to your smartphone or other devices, helping you and your healthcare provider review insulin use alongside glucose data to support personalised diabetes management.
