Migraitan 50mg contains sumatriptan to treat an acute migraine attack (with or without aura). Adults 18–65: take 1 tablet at the first signs of migraine; if symptoms return, a second may be taken after 2 hours. Max 2 tablets in 24 hours. Not for prevention.
Migraitan 50mg Migraine Relief Tablets are used to treat an acute migraine attack (with or without aura). They contain sumatriptan, a “triptan” medicine (5-HT1 receptor agonist).
Migraine is thought to involve temporary changes in blood vessels and natural chemicals in the body. Migraitan works on this process and helps relieve headache and other migraine symptoms such as feeling sick (nausea) and sensitivity to light and sound. Relief can begin from around 30 minutes after taking a tablet.
Important:
- Migraitan is only for migraine. Do not use it for other types of headache, and do not take it to prevent an attack.
