Thin, flexible bordered silicone foam dressing with Safetac technology for low to moderate exuding wounds. Waterproof outer film, gentle removal, and comfortable fit for awkward areas like fingers, toes and small wounds.
Mepilex Border Comfort Lite (4 x 5cm) is a thin, self-adherent bordered foam dressing designed to help manage non- to moderately exuding wounds while maintaining a moist healing environment. It combines an absorbent foam structure with a waterproof outer film to help protect the wound from external contamination during everyday activities.
The dressing features Safetac® soft silicone technology, designed to adhere gently to surrounding skin (not the moist wound bed) to help reduce pain and skin trauma during dressing changes, and to support comfort for people with delicate or fragile skin.
Built with Flex Technology to improve conformability, Mepilex Border Comfort Lite is particularly useful for small wounds and challenging body contours (for example hands/fingers, feet/toes, and other awkward areas) where a low-profile dressing is preferred.
What it’s used for (when clinically appropriate):
- Non/low-exuding acute and chronic wounds, including leg/foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds
- Traumatic wounds such as abrasions, blisters and skin tears
- Protection of compromised/fragile skin
- May be used under compression bandaging if advised
