Canesten Thrush External Cream is recommended for the treatment of candidal vulvitis. It should be used as an adjunct to treatment of candidal vaginitis. It can also be used for treatment fo the sexual partner's penis to prevent re-infection
Canesten® Thrush Cream Clotrimazole 2% – 20g is an antifungal treatment used to relieve the external symptoms of vaginal thrush, including itching, redness, soreness and irritation around the vulval area.
The cream contains clotrimazole 2%, a clinically proven antifungal medicine that works by stopping the growth of Candida yeast, the most common cause of thrush. It helps clear infection at the skin surface while soothing uncomfortable symptoms.
This product is suitable for use alongside other Canesten thrush treatments, such as pessaries or oral capsules, where recommended. It is intended for external use only and provides targeted relief directly at the affected area.
