Product Overview
Adult mouthpiece spacer (valved holding chamber) for MDIs to help reduce throat deposition and improve inhaler coordination. Clean weekly. Replace after 12 months.
The AeroChamber Plus® Mouthpiece Adult Spacer is a valved holding chamber designed for people who have been prescribed a metered dose inhaler (MDI). It holds the aerosol medicine after you press the inhaler, giving you more time to inhale and helping improve coordination of “press and breathe”.
Using a spacer can help:
- Improve delivery of inhaler medicine to the lungs
- Filter out larger particles that are less likely to reach the lungs
It is intended for use with an MDI (and is supplied in mouthpiece format for adult use). If you have concerns about using the chamber or your inhaler technique, ask a healthcare professional.
